Microcrystalline wax, white amorphous non-crystalline solid wax, With C31-70 branched saturated hydrocarbon-based, with a small amount of cyclic, straight-chain hydrocarbon, odorless and tasteless. Insoluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in hot ethanol,soluble in benzene, ether and the like; with a variety of mineral wax, vegetable wax, and hot fat oil solubility.

 

The main function of microcrystalline wax in cosmetics and skin care products is adhesive and emulsifying stabilizer, which is relatively safe and can be used with confidence. It generally has no effect on pregnant women, and microcrystalline wax does not cause acne.
