According to the structure and shape, sodium tripolyphosphate can be divided into white powder anhydrous gypsum and hexahydrate crystallized in right-angle parallelepiped, which can be divided into type 1 and type 2. Industrial sodium tripolyphosphate is actually a mixture of type I and type II. Type I dissolves quickly, has a large thermal effect when hydrated to form hexahydrate, and is easy to absorb moisture and agglomerate in the atmosphere. Type 1 slow moisture absorption, not easy to agglomerate. Therefore, the content of type 2 sodium tripolyphosphate used in detergent should not be too high, generally controlled in 10 ~ 30%.
Product characteristics:
Sodium tripolyphosphate has the functions of chelation, suspension, dispersion, gelling, emulsification and pH buffering. It can be used as main additives of synthetic detergent, industrial water softener, tanning pretanning agent, dyeing additives, organic synthesis catalyst, industrial dispersant and food additives

It has a strong emulsifying effect on lubricating oil and grease and can be used to adjust the pH value of buffer soap. In industrial water softener, leather pretanning agent, dyeing assistant, coating, kaolin, magnesium oxide, calcium phosphate and other industries can be used as dispersant, drilling mud dispersant and paper industry suspension. In addition, the production of high quality ceramics also requires special trimerization of the ceramics. Sodium phosphate is used as a gelling agent.
