Fischer Tropsch Wax
 

Fischer-tropsch wax is a methylene polymer, which is an alkane polymer synthesized from hydrocarbon-based syngas or nat-ural gas. It mainly relies on high-quality and cheap raw materials of coal chemical industry for iron or cobalt synthesis, and has obvious advantages over crude wax in price. Fischer-tropsch wax is mainly composed of straight chain, saturated high-carbon alkanes with relative molecular weight of 500-1000. The Fischer-Tropsch process can synthesize alkanes with different chain lengths to change the molecular weight of the final product and form serialized products. There are mainly crude wax and refined wax after treatment, and the product forms are mainly granules and powders.

Fischer-tropsch wax has fine crystal structure, high melting point, narrow melting point range, low oil content, low penetration, low mobility, low melting viscosity, hardness, wear resistance and high stability.

Fischer-tropsch wax can be used in plastic processing, such as injection molding, extrusion and granulation industries. In the production of masterbatches and modified plastics, Fischer-Tropsch wax contributes to dispersion and excellent smoothness of fillers when mixed. Can be used as an external lubricant of PVC, low viscosity can improve the production speed of the product, in the mixing to help the dispersion of the filler, especially in the extrusion of high viscosity system has a better appointment, than the ordinary PE wax added 40-50% less than the amount of paraffin added 20%-30% less, and can significantly improve the surface gloss of the product. In the use of concentrated colors, the melted Fischer-Tropsch wax can effectively wet the dye and reduce the extrusion viscosity.	When the fine powder is used in the ink, it can improve the wear resistance and wrinkle resistance of the applied material. When applied to the coating, it can have a wrinkling effect, and it can form stripes and water wrinkles when used in the micro-powder state. In addition to powder coating resin, it plays a lubricating role in the extrusion process, which can reduce screw torque, reduce energy consumption and improve production efficiency.	It is the ideal synthetic wax for EVA based hot melt adhesives. Wax with high melting point can improve the heat resistance and fast drying property of the adhesive.
