Microcrystalline wax, white amorphous non-crystalline solid wax, With C31-70 branched saturated hydrocarbon-based, with a small amount of cyclic, straight-chain hydrocarbon, odorless and tasteless. Insoluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in hot ethanol,soluble in benzene,ether and the like; with a variety of mineral wax, vegetable wax, and hot fat oil solubility.Mainly in residual oil fractionated as raw materials, refined the legal system.

Microcrystalline wax has been called purified wax, refined petroleum wax, white to light yellow.   Products by color, oil content and PAH classification, divided into qualified products,highest grade and food grade.  According to the low melting point grade is divided into 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, a total of five grades.  Microcrystalline wax white or light yellow solid, the crystal fine, better permeability, adhesion and toughness, and moisture, good insulation.

Microcrystalline wax has many uses
 

1)  Used in the polishing agent of the ointment-like product.
2)  Used in inhibitor, copy paper, candles, packaging impregnated and fruit coating.
3)  Used In the cosmetics industry for lipstick, ointments, balms, hair cream.
 

Microcrystalline wax can also be used as a modifier for paraffin wax. Adding a small amount of microcrystalline wax to paraffin wax can improve the water permeability of paraffin wax, increase its bending resistance, and improve its plasticity and flexibility, so that paraffin wax can be used for waterproofing, moisture-proofing, and casting molds,papermaking and other fields.
